WEST UNION, Iowa (May 30, 2025)—Fayette County Speedway hosted the second race of the 2025 season Friday night with the Sprint Kings Sprint Car Series delivering high-octane racing action. The event showcased fierce competition across all classes, with standout performances from local and regional drivers.
Altoona's Clayton Vanderploeg, dominatd the main event to earn his first win, leaving series promoter Logan Brown of Clear Lake in his wake.
Rick Baxter of Nashua finished third, with Ken Boeding of New Hampton fourth and opening night winner Jason Gorman of New Hampton rounding out the top five..
Fayette County Speedway returns to action next Friday, June 6,for Hall of Fame Night presented by US Cellular featuring the Sprint Kings Sprint Car Series plus USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Tuners and 600 Mod Lites.
