The Sprint Kings era at Hwy 39 Speedway began with a statement! Hwy 39 Speedway has Rex Chevrolet as the sprint car sponsor  and Devin "Bart" Friedrichsen steered his #2 machine to victory in the inaugural Sprint Kings feature.

Friedrichsen started on the outside of the front row, but the win was anything but easy. He spent several laps patiently building up his momentum, searching for the right line to mount a charge. This led to a heated, side-by-side battle with Jeff Wilke as the two drivers traded ground corner after corner. After a relentless pursuit, Friedrichsen finally cleared Wilke for the top spot. Once in the lead, he was able to inch ahead little by little, maintaining his composure to secure the win.

After pulling into victory lane, he was smiling ear to ear and visibly ecstatic to secure the win to kick off the new series. Huge congratulations to Bart and the entire #2 team on making history as our first-ever winner at Hwy 39 Speedway! We are beyond excited to see this program continue to gain momentum and grow throughout the remainder of the year.
