A record 228 people attended Saturday night’s annual USRA Awards Banquet in the Star Pavilion located at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City as the USRA closed the curtain on the 2015 season.

Entering its seventh season, the USRA Holley Iron Man Series once again features a combination of both new venues and familiar facilities at 18 of the finest dirt ovals in Iowa, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri.

Officials from the Mason City Motor Speedway would like to welcome Kabrick Distributing as the title sponsor for the USRA Modifieds in 2016. The class will be renamed the Budweiser USRA Modifieds.

The USRA closed the curtain on the 2015 season Oct. 25, and with points tallied and audited, the USRA has officially crowned four drivers from four states as 2015 USRA National Champions.

Officials from the Mason City Motor Speedway will host a drivers meeting on Sunday, Nov. 15, in the Kinney Building located at the North Iowa Events Center at 3700 4th St. SW in Mason City.

The name Mason City Motor Speedway will now shine a light on the city that has supported the legendary venue for more than half a century as they turn the calendar to 2016.
