Friday night started the final weekend of racing for the 2011 season at Chateau Raceway as Action Engineering of Rochester presented the first of two days for the Fall Nationals.

Jason Cummins dominated for his fifth win of the year and also claimed his second straight track championship in the USRA RHS Modifieds.

Todd Scharkey had the field covered for his first win of 2011 Friday night at the Chateau Raceway.

The defending track and USRA national champion Jason Cummins streaked away from the pack and won his third in a row by a half-lap Friday night at the Chateau Raceway.

Jacob Dahle led the first two laps of the USRA RHS Modified feature Friday night at the Chateau Raceway. That was until Jason Cummins took over when he made the pass for the lead on lap 3.

It was a hot and steamy night both on and off the track this week at the Chateau Raceway. After a brief passing sprinkle, the sun returned and made it a hot and sticky late afternoon.

After early morning showers fell in the area, it turned out to be a beautiful night as the Iron Man Challenge for USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods joined the USMTS Modifieds for a special Thursday night race program at Chateau Raceway.

It was a jam-packed night of excitement Friday night at the Chateau Raceway. With six feature races to be made up, an entire show for this week and a spectacular fireworks display after the show, fans got their moneys worth this week.

It has been more often that not that Mother Nature has tried to crash the party at Chateau Raceway this season. The party was not only crashed, but the doors were blown open just when the night’s first feature race was on the track Friday night.

Six events are in the books for the Iron Man Challenge featuring USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars and USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods, with 10 different winners emerging from 11 feature races so far.

Another new face entered victory lane at Chateau Raceway Friday night as Jacob Dahle recorded his first feature win of the season with close to 80 cars checked in for this week’s race program.

Tim Donlinger dominated the 25-lap USRA RHS Modified feature race Friday night at the Chateau Raceway. Donlinger started on the outside of row one and led the entire distance.
