Mother Nature again tried in vain to end the race program early at Chateau Raceway. Rain fell just before the start of the USRA Modified feature, but it ended quickly and the program ran to its entirety.

The race program went on Friday night at the Chateau Raceway despite heavy rains all around the Lansing area. A season high 101 cars signed in to race on Albert Lea Steel and The New Smitty’s Tavern Night.

Every person that came out took advantage of the free front gate admission Friday night and they jammed the Chateau Raceway full.

This Friday, June 14 is deemed “Fan Appreciation Night” at the Chateau Raceway. This year’s event will really be special to the fans as there is no admission charge at the front gate.

For the first time this season weather was not a factor at Chateau Raceway. It was a nice night for the kids “Gold Rush” night sponsored by French’s Repair and Fabrication along with Rent-N-Save.

Tom Schmitt and Cory Crapser captured the wins Thursday night as the Iron Man Challenge made its debut at the Chateau Raceway in Lansing, Minn.

Up next for the Iron Man Challenge will be a tripleheader featuring both USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods at three tracks in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 6-8.

Early afternoon thunderstorms grazed the Austin area and the race program at the Chateau Raceway was on just long enough for Kylie Kath to win the USRA B-Mod make-up feature.

For the sixth time in seven weeks, weather put a halt to racing at Chateau Raceway. At least this week the program made it to just past the halfway mark before the rains came in earnest.

Heavy rains forced Chateau Raceway officials to cancel this week's racing program. Over three inches of rain soaked the facility on Friday morning and afternoon.

The Chateau Raceway and Brew Pub Pizza will entice the USRA Modified drivers who redraw the front row for the feature events this season.

After a four-week delay due to the extended winter season, the racing season kicked off at Chateau Raceway on a beautiful Friday night.
